Experience Innovation Board Brings Together 21 Leading RIAs to Focus on Evolving the Prospect and Client Experience
TORONTO, April 23, 2025 – Today, Absolute Engagement announced the formation of the Experience Innovation Board, along with 24 founding members representing 21 leading RIAs.
The first of its kind, the Experience Innovation Board brings together senior-level leaders, who have accountability for the client or prospect experience, at large RIAs, to collaborate, learn and evolve the experience.
“The Experience Innovation Board was launched with a core group of founding members, all working with progressive RIAs, and dedicated to elevating the client experience for their clients and for the industry as a whole,” said Absolute Engagement Founder & CEO Julie Littlechild.
“The challenges faced by those with accountability for the prospect and client experience at large RIAs are real,” she continued. “Yet there was no structured way for these leaders to connect, collaborate and innovate. We wanted to create that space for the firms that want to lead in this area, and we felt it was important to step up and take action on this industry initiative.”
Each quarter Absolute Engagement will publish new research, drawing on input from members, to support the industry in driving innovation.

Uplifting the Industry
Absolute Engagement research shows that clients are satisfied, but that only five percent of CX leaders define their experience as extraordinary. “Our members realize it’s not enough to deliver an experience efficiently,” said Vanessa Oligino, Chief Client Experience Officer at Absolute Engagement. “The most progressive firms are looking to raise the stakes to a new level—delivering an experience efficiently that is also engaging and enduring. The Experience Innovation Board will not only support members on that path but will result in insights that will drive the industry forward.”
About the Experience Innovation Board
At the inaugural meeting this month, the founding members agreed to a structure that includes capturing and sharing new data from participants on evolving the experience with the industry. Meetings will provide access to new research and ideas (from within and outside the industry) and focus on small group peer sharing and discussion.
Going forward, the Experience Innovation Board will be open to RIAs with a minimum of $1b in assets under management. The participants are senior-level leaders with accountability for the prospect or client experience. All members will agree to the guidelines set out by the founding members to facilitate open conversation and learning, and there is no cost to participate. Qualifying firms can learn more here.
